This area will be a general overview of trails and ratings based on difficulty, elevation, mileage, and overall fun.
A trail that runs through the woods around Hidden Pond Park. It is approximately 4.4 miles in length with 225 ft of climbing. Elevation change is 150 ft. It consists of a beginner loop, main loop, and 2 advanced loops. Beginner loop is mostly flat wooded area with rooty sections at times. The main loop is a roller coaster with ups and downs. Some decent climbs at times but nice payoffs. The first advanced loop runs along Motor Parkway and is tons of fun and fast. Rock roller, log rolls, nice berms, and skinnies along the way. The second advanced loop has some tough climbs with rewarding flow thrown in the mix.
Mileage: 4.4 miles. Beginner loop (Mellow Yellow 1.1 mile), Main loop (True Blue 2.0 miles), Advanced loops (Agent Orange .5 mile), (Pink Floyd .8 miles)
Technical: A few tight spots to weave in between trees, some log rollers, berms, and some loose rocky sections.
Elevation: 225 ft of climbing with 150 ft of elevation change. What it lacks in mileage makes up for in climbing…but rewarding downhills await.
Flow: The trail changes characteristics from section to section. Overall is a pretty fast trail with good climbs and flowy lines.
Overall: Cool little trail that allows different loops and changes scenery along the way. Good workout with right mix of fun!!
