So I got a quirky Santa Cruz and it has a short but usable bed. Decided to make my own custom bike rack using some aluminum and fork mounts that uses stock bolt holes. Holds two bikes in the current config and they do not move at all.
Kid’s bike in there for fitting test. With leaving it on, the tailgate and toneau cover work as expected.
