Thanks to the great turnout from last year we are going to have another MTB Race at Cathedral Pines. The date will be September 21st 2008. Applications will be available shortly at www.carlhart.com , in the CLIMB Newsletter and at www.climbonline.org. We would like to continue this for years to come so any suggestions are welcome.

Another year under our belt

Well we are approaching our 11th official year of being online. Wow, 11 years! We have seen a lot of changes to our site, community and the trails we all love. We have some new faces here but the majority of you have been contributing to the forum for several years, some seemingly since the beginning.

You'll notice there were some changes made - hopefully you'll like them! First off you will see the new template and color scheme. Green is this year's blue and we'll likely keep this scheme for a year or two (unless I get a creative bug again). The weather plugin has changed a bit, now it sits in its own section and gives you a forecast for a few days. I got rid of the pesky PayPal donation button because it annoyed me to see it and aside from the once-a-year guilt donation, it wasn't used. That's cool, I've got enough money to cover this so don't worry about it.

The other sections stay the same except for one notable addition - Trail Locations. This new section is a Google maps plugin that will let us do some new things. You'll be able to see the locations of trails already submitted along with user photos of that locale. You will also be able to add new locations (even ones in say...Colorado ) to the map/directory. Pretty neat!

So, stick with us and lets see how far we can take this!
