I'm looking into upgrading my primary PC and have these parts available:

Athlon 64 2800 processor W/ HSF retail package.
Abit KV8 Pro board w/ all original packaging.
Windows XP Pro 64 bit edition, was installed and activated using the above MB/CPU but never registered. There shouldn't be any problem reactivating it on a new build.

The PC it's in now was built in Oct of 04.
I'm selling it because it's and older style 4/8x AGP slot and I need to build a PC to support the new PCI 16x Video cards for gaming.

If you don't heavy game and are looking to upgrade and older PC this maybe a more inexpensive option than buying a whole new tower.

I'll put it on Ebay just after the first of the year if no one here has any interest.

For sale: Motorola 6800 CPU
-missing 3 pins, but one is N.C.
-3 burned out bits in accumulator have been jumped out with micro-wire
-substrate short (acquired while overdriving oscillator input) has been cleared with a short jolt of DC between VCC and D6.
-still runs like a champ otherwise. Has done stints in a Telefunken reel-to-reel, a B2 MFCP and a toaster oven.
Asking $5 or will trade for a working write-only ROM.
